Strap FAQs
FAQs
Orders for birthdays or Christmas need to be made at least three weeks in advance to be sure your gift arrives on time.
We make every effort to process and complete your order within a week of receiving it. At times there may be small delays, but we’ll keep you up to date via email if we think there may be a delay. Please keep in mind that orders received on Friday will not be processed until the following Monday. While not always successful, we’re trying very hard to maintain a work/life balance.
Your strap’s configuration will be the same as the straps pictured. However, your banjo strap will not look exactly like any particular photo on our website. Our leathers are not dyed so the natural leather color will vary. Also, our leathers have natural surface imperfections that add character to each strap. These will vary from strap to strap.
Yes! The color of your strap will certainly darken some and will patina over time. This is the natural result of the aging process with high-quality leather. Your strap will take-on a wonderful vintage look.
We always strive for 100% customer satisfaction and guarantee the quality of our workmanship. If there’s any problem with your strap, please contact us right away. All orders are custom, so we cannot offer refunds. Your strap has been crafted to fit you and you alone.
We charge a flat fee of $3.99 anywhere in the United States for packages up to 5 lbs.
From experience, we know it’s important that the piece of leather running over your shoulder that connects the banjo to the main body strap, must be positioned properly for ultimate comfort. Because our straps are custom, we can fit a strap perfectly to any body type.
We do not offer hand-dyed leather due to the high probability that dyed leather will bleed.
When building a banjo strap, you can choose both the type of bracket attachment as well as the main-body-strap attachment. When building a guitar strap, you only need to choose the main-body-strap attachment as all of our guitar straps use the standard slot attachment for attaching the strap to the guitar itself.
